Dennis Begos grew up just outside of New York City and has lived practiced. In the Boston suburbs for the last 20 years. After graduating from the University of Rochester with a Bachelor of Science degree in neuroscience. He spent 2 years studying medicine at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He finished his MD at New York Medical College.
Where he was a junior member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical student honor society. From there, he did his general surgery residency at Yale University, spending a productive year of research. In the lab studying GI wound healing and also laparoscopic colon surgery. He was honored by being made Chief Resident in his final year.
Then went on to a colon and rectal surgery fellowship at the prestigious Clevel and Clinic. Board-certified in both General Surgery and Colon in addition Rectal Surgery.
